Today I will explain the Lakota ways of story telling if I were to travel the whole wide world I would observe all it’s land and animals. I would found different varieties of medicine, animals and people. I would think its different but it’s all the same. It was said that man creates a relationship with himself and his surroundings. It may be different but it’s still the same philosophy. Nobody can say that their cultures or beliefs are superior or better then another culture. To me everyone has the right to explain their god given right to coexist among each other with stories and songs. To me they are equally valid to the terms of men or women who created them. So let me tell you what a EHANNI Story takes place in the past before time, even before man. These stories are about spirits who once lived among each other. These stories are full of miraculous happenings and recall powers that man will never see again. Examples our creation stories.
